Obese cat drops 4kg to be re-homed

Rainbow, the obese cat, has lost weight in search of being re-homed.

In Wales, an extremely obese cat has lost over four kilograms so she can be re-homed.

Rainbow was so overweight, at almost 13 kilograms, her life was in danger.

However, a year after she began a strict diet and exercise programme, she's lost 4 kilograms.

Rainbow is still twice the weight of a normal cat, but the shelter is hoping to support more weight loss in her new home.
