Scamp the Tramp has won the annual competition.
A toothless, dreadlocked pooch has beaten 18 other contestants to take the crown at the 31st World's Ugliest Dog contest.
The event, held every year at Sonoma-Marin Fair in northern California, celebrates the fact that all dogs can be loving companions, regardless of their physical appearance.
Most of the contestants were previously abandoned, with Scamp the Tramp rescued from a Los Angeles animal shelter.
According to his bio: "Scamp was found as a stray on the mean streets of Compton. His black body hair does not grow and no matter how many trips to the groomer, Scamp’s hair naturally grows grey dreadlocks down his back all the way to his tail. No amount of hair conditioner can calm down his tresses!"

The tiny doggo works as a therapy dog, visiting older people and schoolchildren.
His owner Yvonne Morones told the Santa Rosa Press-Democrat:
"He’s Scamp the Champ, no longer Scamp the Tramp. I think the audience saw his beautiful spirit and everything he’s given back to the community."
Scamp's won $1,500, a trophy, and a future appearance on the “Today” show.
