Woman gets flung after rubbish truck picks up bench she was sitting on

The video has gone viral.

A video showing a woman being flung from a bench after a garbage truck picked it up in Rochester, New York state, has gone viral.

The footage shows the truck’s mechanical arm locking onto the bench, before then ripping it from the sidewalk, and flinging her to the ground.

The person in the video has been identified as Nicola Hustleby by TV station WHEC.

“I was just sitting there drinking coffee, smoking a cigarette, and bam ...” she told the network.

“All of a sudden, I was just jolted down and thrown on the street.”

It happened back in July but the footage went viral this week after Rochester officials launched a bid to find Hustleby.
