"As I got home my cousin said, 'You need to look in the mirror, your hair isn't even.'"
A woman's terrible haircut has gone viral.
Rachel White from Merthyr Tydfil in Wales went for a colour and cut in a local salon, but came home to realise her hair had been butchered, with long strands of hair hanging down from the wonky cut.
The 20 year old postwoman told the Mirror that she didn't check the €80 style before she left the hairdressers:
"I didn't think twice about not looking at the result because I'd been in there so long.
"I'd only asked for a trim so wasn't expecting to see much change but as soon as I got home my cousin said, 'You need to look in the mirror, your hair isn't even.'
"So I washed it first and styled it my own way but there was no denying how bad the hair cut was."
Rachel took to Facebook to share the photos and the salon got in touch to say that they'd fix it.
But she said she didn't take them up on their offer:
"They didn't apologise. No way was I going back there."
Rachel claims she couldn't face doing her postal rounds until she got it evened out:
"It's really knocked my confidence and I won't be taking selfies until it's all grown back.
"My hair is now about 3 inches shorter than what I asked for.
"I won’t be able to wear my hair down for a very long time as it's embarrassing."
