Yes, this is very strange!

The number of vending machines in Japan is huge and the Japanese National Tourism Board predict there are over 5.52 million in the country.

Selling a range of products from meals to the most bizarre products you can imagine.

Now there is a vending machine selling a range of text messages that you might receive from your mother.

This strange business venture is part of capsule toy maker Tama Kyu latest range of products.

According to soranews24, the messages are meant to resemble loving and caring texts you would receive from your mammy.

Each text or pin costs 200 yen(€1.50)  and includes messages like:

“If work is grinding you down, you can always come back home, anytime.”

“Hey! You forgot to take your lunch with you. Stay sharp!”

“Dinner is ready”

There is also a mistaken text that was meant for your Dad but got sent you saying:

“I love you, Hubby!”

Each message is printed on a pin and is inside a sphere capsule.

Would this work in Ireland with some Irish mammy sayings?
