Not good news for fans of the app.
Donald Trump has vowed to ban Chinese video-sharing app TikTok from operating in the US.
Speaking to reporters, the US President said: "As far as TikTok is concerned, we’re banning them from the United States."
The move comes after Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the US was looking into a ban in early July.
He did not specify how he intended to achieve what he described as a "severance", but he could do it through executive action as early as this weekend.
It's the latest move in a row in which the US has targeted China and its tech companies over accusations of intellectual property theft.
