It's wine o'clock somewhere!
A man has been arrested for allegedly jumping on a moving wine tanker and drinking wine from a valve.
Gabreil Moreno from Hayward, California was arrested on suspicion of vandalism and driving on a suspended license.
The 39 year old is reported to have jumped on to a moving truck containing wine on the highway, opened a valve and drank the wine.
California Highway Patrol officer Tom Olsen told KOVR, that the incident began after Moreno drove along side a Cherokee Freight Lines tanker truck and signaled the truck driver to pull over.
Thinking that the Moreno had seen a problem with the truck, he pulled the tanker over.
Moreno then exited his car, wearing only his underpants went and a facemask, went running towards the truck.
The truck driver did not engage in the strange interaction and decided to join the highway again.
According to mercurynews.com, driver had already notified authorities before he noticed that the red wine from the tanker was leaking from the valve.
Olsen said : “He was lying on the ground and doing snow angels, basically, as the wine was pouring down on him,”
