This could be the "new normal" for horror fans

A performance group in Tokyo has come up with a creative way of giving horror fans a theatrical experience without increasing the probability of spreading Covid-19.

The performance group, "Kowagarasetai", which translated to English means "Scare Squad", have designed a drive-in horror experience.

Paying customers drive into a garage, where the performance takes place one car at a time.

The customers remain seated in their vehicles while a horror story is told and brought to life with sound effects and actors banging on the vehicles while dressed up as monsters.

If that's not enough to scare you senseless, fake blood is also sprayed all over the cars.

The whole experience costs around €75 and looks to be worth every cent...provided they wash the blood off the bonnet afterwards!
