Who'd have thought a delicious dessert would have such potentially naughty underpinnings?
Italy is mourning the death of its "Father of Tiramisu".
Aldo Compoel, who invented the coffee cream dessert, died at the age of 93.

Apparently, the dessert first came about by mistake by Mr Campoel's wife and his chef at the time, but regardless, they created something that went on to be one of the world's most popular desserts.
But it's the alleged story behind the dessert that is far more eyebrow raising.
According to local folklore, the dessert was first served by the owner of a local brothel to customers, to help reinvigorate them before they returned to their wives - the word itself means "pick me up" in Italian.
The absolute truth of story can never be verified, but it might make you look at Tiramisu a bit differently.
Whether or not it'll put you off ordering one - we doubt it!
