"People were complaining because people were having heart attacks"
If you grew up in the early 2000's watching videos on the internet, you probably remember the K-Fee advert.
The star of the heart-stopping video which went viral has been identified.
Rhys Productions 11 Youtube channel found the zombie better known as Brad Johnson.
Speaking to Rhys and Jame, Johnson said he got the role because his friend was the cinematographer.
According to Ladbible, creators originally tried to use puppets but thought it didn't work.
In the interview he said:
"We were in LA and were shooting at a studio because they shot all the other stuff before we got there. We just shot our stuff in front of a green screen.
"Yeah, so we went to the studio, sat for about four hours in makeup."
"We heard a lot of people were complaining because people were having heart attacks and problems with kids - so I think it got banned in some places.
"It's so funny because it was just a quick little gig we did one day, our friend called us and we went and did it really quick and it never died.
"I've seen it on The Simpsons where they're watching the commercial, talk shows - it went all over the place.
"I thought it was funny, I'm always down to prank people and give them a good little jump. It was funny because with all that makeup on, just walking around, anyone that saw us, just driving past, would have a little panic attack."
Despite the video going viral, Johnson never got much recognition for his role.
He said:
"Of course I showed people, but nobody ever recognises me from that commercial.
"I didn't get any fame from it, there's only a few people who are, like, die-hard 'zombie people' who have tracked me down.
"It's cool, it's nice."
