Former Love Island star Theo Campbell has lost sight in one of his eyes

He lost vision in his right eye after an accident involving a champagne cork.

Love Island star Theo Campbell has lost all vision in his right eye.

The 28-year-old, who was on the show in 2017, says he's had two lots of surgery after an "unfortunate accident" involving a champagne cork.

Thanks for all the messages and support I’ve got over the last couple days they’re all very much appreciated ♥️! So yeah basically 2 eye surgeries later after a really unfortunate accident, I’ve lost all vision in my right eye as it got split in half, who would have thought a champagne cork would be the end of me.. ?. Posting on his Instagram account he says he's using the one eye he has left to look on the bright side.

Looking to be in a fair amount of pain, Theo captioned the image “the new Fetty Wap” as he jokingly compared himself to the American rapper.

The former reality show star also asked if anyone knows a place that sells 'cool eye patches'.

At least he hasn't lost his sense of humour!
