A new study from the Irish creme liqueur company has discovered that cheesecake is the dessert of choice for almost one in five people in Ireland (18%) with Baileys (29%) being the nations favourite flavour.
While cheesecake topped the poll for both men and women, the results show that Irish men are 60% more likely to order ice-cream than women.
However, when we do choose a dessert we love to share (69%) which is great news for the nearly 40 per cent of people who get FOMO over food.
The study also found that Irish people don't treat themselves as much as they deserve, with 74% of the nation admitting planning for life in general gets in the way of moments that matter with friends.
To celebrate Ireland’s love of desserts, Baileys have launched a number of Treat Bar collaborations in a number of venues across the country.
