Tea-riffic news for the crew on board
Is there anything that a cup of tea can't fix? Its seems it may be the savior for everything.
The team on board the International Space Station has used a simple tea bag to fix a hole leaking air.
A Russian space agency Roscosmos claimed that the station had been experiencing the air leak since September 2019.
Although it wasn't consider a major priority at the time the leak rate increased in August.
Cosmonaut Anatoly Ivanishin broke open a tea bag and allowed the leaves to float around the transfer chamber of the Zvezda Service Module area.
The crew then monitored the leaves using video cameras till they found a scratch on the wall that was calling the leak.
According UPI, once the scratch was the confirmed source of the leak. It was patched using Kapton tape.
