A species of creepy crawlies has been named after Taylor Swift.
Scientist @DerekHennen has named a new millipede species after Taylor Swift:
“This new millipede species is Nannaria swiftae: I named it after @TaylorSwift13! I'm a big fan of her music, so I wanted to show my appreciation by naming this new species from Tennessee after her.” pic.twitter.com/jT7Tu0JgCl

The twisted-claw millipede is a new species, that's just been discovered in America's Appalachian Mountains
Dr Derek Hennen, who discovered the species, says he decided to name it "Nannaria Swiftae", as a way of saying thanks to Taylor whose music "got him through the highs and lows" of college.
Flattery at it's finest!
