Researchers in Japan reckon certain rodents do have a sense of rhythm.

According to Sky News, scientists at the University of Tokyo monitored the head movements of rats as they played Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way,' 'Another One Bites the Dust' by Queen, and a Mozart piano sonata.

They found the rats managed to keep in time with all of the tracks, nodding along to 132 beats per minute - the same as humans.

But the study showed they enjoyed it a lot less when the music was slowed down or sped up.
