A man in the UK who stole 200,000 Creme Eggs has been jailed for 18 months.
32 year old Joby Pool broke into a Shropshire Industrial Unit and stole a lorry containing almost 36,000 euro worth of the chocolate.
He drove the truck up the motorway before surrendering.
Speaking in court, the judge said:
"There was the taking of a tractor unit that was driven from Castleford down here to carry out the theft. There must have been inside information or a recce to identify the trailer and if it was worth taking."
"An angle grinder was taken and false plates were obtained to put on the trailer. I am pretty sure others would have been involved in this enterprise."
He was jailed for 18 months, with half of his sentence is to be spent in prison and the other half on license.
