Has he gone too far?
One homeowner has come up with a very creative way to slow down the cars along the road and stop people speeding near his house.
The father came up with the idea when the road near his house in Staffordshire had cars going above the 30mph speed limit.
Taking to TikTok, the man revealed why he made a 'fake speed camera van' to tackle the issue.
Explaining that it 'does his tree in', the dad shared a video of a car flying past him.
He said:
"Some lads crashed into our garden once, true story."
"It is doing the nut in of all the people who live round here, they're not happy."
"So I thought what could I do to help? What actually makes people slow down?"
The man said 'speed flashy things' just didn't seem to really work, but that 'one thing which does look like it does the trick is a speed camera van'.
The man also recorded videos of cars slamming on the breaks after spotting the van.
A spokesperson for the Staffordshire Police said the man’s van doesn't appear to break any laws and hasn't been reported.
