With some much time at home it's hard to avoid the snack drawer during the day, even when you're just bored.
A 'Snaccident' helpline has been set up for people who are snacking because they're bored at home.
We are guilty of looking for food when we aren't even hungry according to a new survey.
A survey on 2,000 people found that 47% are snacking more at home than they did in the office.
The main cause of this snacking when you're working from home is boredom.
Almost a third (31%) are most tempted when having a cup of tea, while 27 % snack due to stress.
The study also found that 9 in 10 people broke their healthy eating resolution by the last week in January.
Go Ahead have set up a hotline that will be open till the end of February.
The brand have teamed up with Scarlett Moffatt to promote the hotline.
She said :
“We all know Snaccidents happen from time to time. I know they’ve snuck up on me when I least expect it.
“So the first thing I’d like people to do is go easy on themselves.”
The survery which was carried out by OnePoll also found that 44% of adults find healthy eating 'boring'.
According to SWNS Digital Hub, the most unexciting snacks are celery, carrot sticks and rice cakes.
