There is one catch...
A city in the state of Mississippi is offering remote worker $6,000( €4979.52) to move to the district.
Natchez, a city situated in on the banks of the river Mississippi is offering an incentive for people to make the move.
Mayor Dan Gibson said that the city's 'Shift South program' is offering people a one-time payment of $2,500 (€2074.80) and a $300(€248.98) monthly payment for one year.
There is one catch you must buy a house worth at least $150,000(€124,488.04) and remain there for a year.
Speaking to CNN, Gibson said:
"We are excited to be the first and only city in the Deep South to offer an incentive like this to remote workers,"
"Our warm and friendly people, the [Mississippi] river at our feet, our history and our beautiful sunsets make Natchez a great city to call home."
"The pandemic has really been a wake-up call to what people have been feeling for a long time,"
"They're tired of the big cities, the high cost of living and the long commutes. With this offer, you can live in a beautiful, historic small town where everything is convenient and affordable."
According to UPI, there is 30 slots currently with 10 of them already taken.
Workers will also be required to establish primary residency in Natchez.
