That said, when you're live on air, anything can happen.
CNN's Hala Gorani proved her professionalism while she was on air over the weekend.
She was covering the results of an Israeli election from a waterfront location when out of the blue, a group of lads rocked up on a barge behind her and began to sing sea shanties.

Gorani actually managed to continue on, and commented on how lovely their harmonies were before apologising for 'audio issues' in the background as she was serenaded!
