The grandson of US presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders appeared with him on stage last night -- wearing an Irish soccer jersey.
It wasn't long before good ol' Irish Twitter started to do it's thing:

It happened at a campaign rally in Indianola, in the state of Iowa, ahead of the Democratic Party's first presidential caucus tomorrow.
Party members in the state will be the first to vote on their party's candidate for the US presidential election.
