The UK's Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) has banned a number of car number plates that contain the number 69.
Some of the latest cars to be registered in the UK in late 2019 and early 2020 will contain 69 as part of their registration plate.
However, with custom plates legal to buy in the country, the DVLA have sought to ensure that combinations of the number and letters which are 'inappropriate' don't make it onto car bumpers nationwide.
The Metro reports that the DVLA released the list of banned registrations following a Freedom of Information request.
The selection of plates includes those which could be read as sexual, obscene, threatening or racist.
Some picks of the banned bunch are as follows:
B69 PRK
C69 NNT
B69 DCK
AN69 LUV
BJ69 BOY
BJ69 BSM
BJ69 PEE
DO69 CRP
EU69 YES
HU69 PRC
MU69 DER
NO69 ERS
NO69 SXY
OR69 SMS
VA69 ROT
WH69 RES
The Metro also reported last month that a van driver in the UK was too embarrassed to pick up his rental van after it had a licence plate starting with BJ69.
It means drivers with a more mischevious nature might have a tricky time getting the perfect reg for the new motor.
