"we will feed it to one of our animals as an enrichment treat!"

If you're not a fan of Valentine's Day or of your ex, then a zoo in America may have the answer.

A zoo in America is offering people the chance to name rodents and roaches for Valentines.

You'll be able to get revenge on that nasty ex and help out the zoo while doing so.

The rodents and roaches are then fed to larger zoo animals as a meal.

The San Antonio Zoo is charging $5(€4.11) to have a cockroach named after their ex.

If you would like to make a stronger statement you can pay $25( €20.56) to name a pre-frozen rat that will be fed to a snake.

According to UPI, the zoo said:

"You will be able to symbolically name a cockroach or a pre-frozen rat after your ex, and we will feed it to one of our animals as an enrichment treat! NEW for 2021, you can also symbolically purchase a herbivore option and we will feed it to one of our mammals.

On Valentine’s Day, February 14th, we will be showing our ‘Cry Me A Cockroach!’ feeding frenzy on our social media pages! Birds, reptiles, and mammals from San Antonio Zoo will join in on this feast."

It's definitely a change from your traditional Valentines Day card.
