A new study has revealed that 42 percent of people would have sexual intercourse with a robot.
Tidio conducted the survey on a group of 1,200 people with a large express their openness to the idea.
The chatbot business also found that 39 percent of people would hold a romantic relationship with an AI counterpart.
Of the group surveyed, men were more receptive to the idea of getting romantic with a robot.
According to Ladbible, those conducting the research actually found that men in general are twice as likely to put their trust in artificial intelligence than women.
Researchers also asked the participants about their attitude towards AI for other areas of life.
They found that 78 percent of respondents are convinced AI will be used to spread misinformation while 45 percent had a positive attitude towards AI taking control of the economy.
Interestingly 60 percent would be willing to use a self-driving taxi during heavy traffic.
