So Revenge Bedtime Procrastination is a thing..
We've all been there.
You've had a mad day at work. Then you remember you promised you'd go for a walk. You eventually get home hours later than you planned and you still have to make dinner AND wash your hair.
Exhausting.
Finally it's time to fall into bed, but instead of going straight to sleep you start scrolling TikTok or throw on Netflix to 'unwind'.
Next thing you know it's midnight.
This, my friends is Revenge Bedtime Procrastination.
@samanhaiderrwhy is this me every night ??♀️##fyp ##foryoupage ##desi ##brown ##sleep ##psychology

Revenge Bedtime Procrastination is basically putting off going to sleep to give ourselves the illusion of more free time.
As well as depriving yourself of badly needed sleep, RBP usually involves more screentime.
Screens emit a harsh blue light that actually stops the body producing melatonin meaning even less shut eye..
Great, another thing to lie awake worrying about, amarite?
