Never not at it
It's fair to say UK media outlets have made a habit of claiming Irish celebrities as their own.
Most recently it was Sky News, who praised 'British hospitality' for the welcome received by two Ukrainian refugees who had just arrived in Dublin.
This time, GB News is the offender, having claimed champion Tipperary jockey Rachael Blackmore, who's from a small parish called Killenaule.
The Dan Wootton Tonight panel nominate today's Greatest Briton:

Ironically enough, the segment appears to be called 'Union Jackass' which will reflect the sentiment of many Irish people coming across the story.
Irish Twitter has been lightning quick to point out the error on the part of Dan Wootton's panel:

Aye, and ireland has nominated Winston Churchill as history's greatest Irishman. He's up against Harry kane, St George and Prince William.
