Bombs away!
A politician was the victim of an embarrassing moment in Chicago yesterday.
State representative, Jaime Andrade was being interviewed by CBS at Irving Park Blue Line, aka the Pigeon Poop Stop when his awkward viral moment was born.
The lawmaker was discussing the growing issue of the filth being left behind by pigeons at the Irving Park station.
The pathways for commuters have been tarred with pigeon feces and feathers.
RIGHT ON CUE: A pigeon relieved itself on state Rep. @AndradeRep40 as he spoke to CBS 2's @laurenvictory about a @CTA stop nicknamed the "pigeon poop station." “That’s what happens to my constituents," he said. "They get s**t on all time.” https://t.co/1mVonGXDfM pic.twitter.com/RZVKiuGqH0

Right on cue, as he was explaining the issue, Mr Andrade noticed he'd been the target of a liquid missile.
"I think they just got me!"
To be fair, he handled it like a pro and continued to address the problem adding that:
"That's what happens to my constituents! They get sh*t on all the time!"
Mr Andrade is demanding a solution to the problem but it's complicated. The pigeon poop is landing on a pavement which is the responsibility of the city of Chicago, however, the underpass where the pigeons perch to do their business falls under the jurisdiction of the Illinois Department of Transport.
