Piers Morgan said he had a “sore head” following his Christmas party where he spent more than £4,000 (€4,930) on champagne.
Holly Willoughby, Good Morning Britain co-presenter Susanna Reid and fellow host Kate Garraway were some of the guests in attendance.

Morgan posted an image of the receipt for the night on his Twitter which included a bill for £4,200(€4,944) for 60 bottles of Bollinger
He joked with Kevin Pietersen: “I asked them to serve only YOU Prosecco, the rest of us had Bollinger…”

Some people on Twitter criticised Morgan for his big drinks bill.
One included “54-years-old and uploading bar receipts…#Cringe”.
Others said: “I had my works night out last week. Tenner in the kitty and that lasted all night. This is obscene.”

Morgans co-presenter Susanna Reid shared a snap of herself with Morgan saying : “Last time you’ll see us together this decade.”
And Piers replied with a picture of the pair saying “I got The Grinch partying again.”
