Struggling with the facial hair lads?
A recent poll shows that one fifth of men would go without sex for a year in exchange for the perfect beard.
A study reported on LadBible quizzed 2,000 lads about their views of facial hair and the results were fairly interesting. One fifth of respondents said they'd go celibate for a full year in exchange for the perfect beard. Meanwhile, 40% of them said they'd be willing to spend a night behind bars or go a year without coffee for a better beard. Elsewhere, 18% said they'd completely shave their head for their dream beard.
The research should be taken with a large pinch of salt though. It was conducted by OnePoll for Honest Amish, a company that makes beard products.
Their studies found that men are quite concerned with their facial hair. 73% of participants said they thought facial hair made men more attractive but only 63% of women agreed with that theory.
The beard may be attractive but it's not the most hygienic. A study last year found that bearded men carry around more germs than dogs too. Lovely.
