Not bad for two week's 'work'.

Want to get paid for that extra lie-in?

You can get paid over €1,600 to simply sleep for two weeks. Mattress experts Hillarys is hiring a 'sleep executive' as part of a new study they're doing. The company is investigating how light and sound can disrupt sleep and will pay someone £1,428.57 (around €1630) to help them out with it.

If you're successful, you'll be brought to their offices in Nottingham in the UK. There, they'll set you up with sleep monitoring gear to determine how different conditions and environments affect your quality of sleep.

Over the 15-day study, they'll test out things like blackout curtains and different light and sound disruptions.

When you wake up from your sleep, the sleep executive will have to fill in a questionnaire to help the team investigate how each environment affects sleep quality.

Lucy Askew from Hillarys, told LadBible a little more about the role:

"What a great way to not only test out our blackout products, but to also see the way light and sound affect sleep quality.

"Sleep is so important, and many might not appreciate how even a slither of light can disrupt your much-need seven hours.

"We're looking forward to getting the new sleep executive on board and seeing the findings of this experiment."

Applications close at 23:59 on April 9th and you can check out more details on the role here.
