The good weather over easter has meant people are heading outside to sunbath, this has caused some problems for nudists in the Czech Republic.

Nudists have been targeted by authorities for not wearing protective masks whilst sunbathing.

NyPost.com reports, 75 people who were sunbathing in Lázně Bohdaneč were found violating government orders to wear face masks in public.

Police spokesperson Markéta Janovská said “Unfortunately, the sunbathing citizens were in one place in larger numbers and some did not even have a mask,”

The nationwide emergency ordinance does state that while exhibitionists are allowed to be nude in public, they must wear a face mask.

Janovská said “Citizens can be without clothes in places designated for this purpose, but they must have their mouths covered and must observe the numbers in which they can go into nature,”

“We understand that many people do not have a garden and want to ventilate in the countryside,”

“But we all want one thing in common: fully respecting government regulations, so that the measures taken can be gradually released.”

Police said no fines were issued and sunbathers immediately put on face masks.
