A prominent Dublin business has issued a notice to customers saying they won't be accepting "bra money".

Mattress Mick's store in Coolock put up the sign earlier this week as the heatwave hit Ireland.

The sign said:

"NO BRA MONEY"

"Due to increasing temperatures, and for our own personal safety, we will NOT be accepting bra money."

"Sorry for any inconvenience"

The notice was also shared on social media with the caption:

"Due to soaring heat wave across Dublin and on going safe trading with social distancing we would urge all customers not to pay us from their bras and keep your euro notes in your purse or handbag at all times."

A fair request we think.

Their decision has been getting a massive reaction online with the majority of customers agreeing with the statement.
