A US judge has dismissed a child exploitation lawsuit filed by a man who featured on Nirvana's iconic Nevermind album cover as a baby.

Spencer Elden was four months old when he was pictured in a pool without any clothes on back in 1991.
The now 30-year-old sued the band - claiming he couldn't have consented to being pictured.
His claim was dismissed because his lawyers missed a deadline.
He's since been given an extension to pursue his case.
