Inventor Simone Giertz is the creator of the chair that is designed for sharing with your pet.
She posted a initial preview video to Twitter with the caption:
"I built a chair for needy pets that always want to sit next to you."
Giertz uploaded the full creative process to Youtube, explaining her inspiration and steps in creating the chair.
According to Ladbible, she used Adobe Illustrator and Fusion 360 to create a prototype.
The design includes a chair with a staircase that lets your pet to climb up and down.
"OMG!!! Put a cushion in the bottom part and all 4 cats could sit by me while I work!!!"
Another said:
"I've been working from my couch for a year because my dogs will not let me work at a table. This...might work!"
Giertz added of the invention:
"I definitely need to deck out the nook a bit more! Ran out of time. I was thinking of a carpet and maybe a food bowl."
