Nasa has announced their intention to crash the International Space Station into the Pacific Ocean.
The station has been a hub of science and discovery in space for over 20 years.
This week Nasa announced the ISS's plans for the next decade as the agency aims to shift toward assisting the private sector.

The space lab has spent 8,476 days in orbit, being launched back in 2000.
According to the report, the space station will be 'de-orbited' in January 2031, based on Nasa's budget estimates.
The BBC also reports that "Russia has previously said that structural fatigue meant the ISS would not be capable of working beyond 2030, and warned that outdated equipment could lead to "irreparable" failures."
