This has to be a major red flag.
A Reddit thread reported on by Tyla has made people absolutely livid.
In the now deleted original post, a woman details her boyfriend telling her to get upper lip hair removal on what he thought was a moustache.
Ouch.
She had showed a picture of her upper lip removal and asked if it was worth it.
The answer was a clear no, judging from the comments, which point out little more than peach fuzz on the woman's lip.

One commenter was very passionate on the subject asking "He asked you to remove it? For what? His own gratification? Big NO."
Another commenter stated "if you like it, keep it. If it bothers you, get it gone or get the mindset that is bothering you gone. Don't let anyone dictate your body to you. That's a them problem, not you."
Some had an even simpler solution to the problem, simply stating "get a new boyfriend" or "dump him."
In fact, commenters also pointed out that laser hair removal was better suited to darker hair, while the original poster was blonde.
"Laser hair removal works best on people with dark hair. It will not remove blonde peach fuzz" stated one comment.
To make matters worse, in a reply to a comment, the original poster acknowledged that it was pricey and would go for removing all body hair, with him paying for it.
"It doesn't make any sense otherwise. I can't pay for it now so he would need to pay for it. Maybe I will try if he agrees to pay for it, and see if I like it and see how my hair reacts to it."
But it's also worth noting that if it made no difference, she'd make it clear she wouldn't continue.
What do you think of this? Would you do laser hair removal if a partner told you to?
