Most annoying email habits have been revealed

One of the most annoying email habits of the year is using the phrase, 'not sure if you saw my last email.'

The 'Happy Friday!' greeting, and 'just looping in' also feature in the list of most annoying email phrases for 2022.

The survey by HR Buddy, also found 90 per cent say they spend between one and three hours a day on emails.

Founder and CEO of HR Buddy, Damien McCarthy, says the working relationship and context is important when it comes to emails:

"Comments inside of emails like 'thanks in advance' and 'not sure if you saw my last email' can be perceived as almost forcing someone to do something. A lot of our communication in emails goes down to the relationship between the two people who are emailing each other. If it's an employer and employee relationship, it's very different to a sales email you might get."
