He was meant to get Botox injections.
A grandfather has been awarded more than €20,000 in compensation after he was mistakenly circumcised.
70-year-old Terry Brazier from England was supposed to have Botox injections into his bladder last summer.
However, afterwards staff at Leicester Royal Infirmary told him there had been a mix-up and apologised for carrying out a circumcision.
“I went in the surgery for some Botox and they ended up circumcising me,” Terry told the Daily Star.
“They didn’t know what to say when they found out they’d done it, they said they can’t send me back to the ward and they needed to talk to me.”
The hospital says while money can't undo what happened, it hopes the payment provides some compensation.
