What do you do when you've already conquered the world of Irish dance? You become your own James Bond, that's what.

It's been confirmed Michael Flatley's spy thriller will finally be released in Irish cinemas this September, four years after it was first made.

The Lord of the Dance star wrote, directed and financed "Blackbird", that sees the 63 year-old star as a 007-style agent.

The trailer features all the classic spy movie tropes - tuxedos, fast cars, love interests, heavy rain and of course, a long trench coat and fedora combo.
