The pop star and her co-writer are both named in the copyright lawsuit
Mariah Carey's being sued for 18-million euro over her hit song All I Want For Christmas Is You.
The pop star, and her co-writer Walter Afansieff, are both named in the copyright lawsuit being brought by songwriter Andy Stone.
Stone claims that their song was taken from one with the same name.
He says he never gave permission for it to be used.
He co-wrote the song for Vince Vance & the Valiants in 1989.
It may be a bit early in the year for this, but check out Andy Stone's song:
Carey released her song in 1994 as part of her album Merry Christmas.
It has since become one of the most well-known festive hits and frequently re-enters the charts every year.
It has become the best-selling US Christmas album of all time, selling more than 15m copies worldwide.
