He broke his own world record which he set last year
Image via Guinness World RecordsA man in the U.S. has broken the World Record for the most Christmas baubles worn on his beard.
Joel Strasser from Idaho managed to attach 710 ornaments to his facial hair.
Mr Strasser first broke the record in 2019 using 302 baubles, then again in 2020 with 542 baubles, and a third time in 2021 with 686 baubles.
But Christmas baubles are not the only thing Joel attaches to his beard.
The Guinness World Records describe him as a serial record-breaker.
He has achieved multiple record titles by putting various items in his beard.
These include; chopsticks, golf tees and paper straws.
Strasser says it took two and a half hours to attach all the decorations to his face.
Joel told Breaking News that it requires a lot of technique:
“My technique has evolved and gotten a lot more specialised over the years that I’ve been breaking the record,”
“I stuck them in a lot more haphazardly at first and that’s why those first beard bauble record numbers were so low.
All of the baubles add up to about five pounds.
