Experts have claimed that magic mushrooms should be given out in care homes to help curb patients' fear of death.

They could help treat anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Dr David Luke is a professor of psychology at Greenwich University in London:

"Everybody is going to die, we know that. A lot of people have a lot of fear around that and it's not an easy transition and I think the use of magic mushrooms shows great promise in helping people to deal with that very challenging transition in life".
