This is one lecture she certainly wont forget.

A university student in Adelaide, Australia walked into a lecture as normal, but walked out with a life changing fortune.

The 20-year-old was sitting in a class when she checked her emails and made the amazing discovery - that she'd won the lotto.

“I was actually at uni in a lecture and I checked my emails and saw one from you telling me I’d won something,” she told 7news.

“I didn’t think much of it, so I just logged into my account quickly and that’s when I realised.

“I was just watching the clock, waiting for it to finish so I could call back.”

The university student is already thinking of how she'll spend her $4.8 millionaud (€2,907,415) fortune.

“I really don’t know where to start. I am still going to finish university, because it’s something I really want to do,” she said.

“I would love to buy my mum a house and I’d love to get myself one too.

“Once we can travel, I would love to do heaps of trips around Australia and overseas.”

The lucky student can enjoy receiving $20,000aud (€12,114) a month for the next 20 years.
