According to TGI Fridays anyways!
The internet is full of life hacks, but we were stopped in our tracks when we came across this food hack.
And apparently it's a game-changer for burger consumption.
You've just opened up your takeaway quarter pounder, or the server has just placed your burger and chips meal down in front of you.
Next step is simple right?
Just pick it up as it is and dive in.
You thought you knew it all... but looks like you're wrong.
Apparently the trick to get the best out of your burger is to flip it.
The Irish Mirror reports, that burger connoisseurs at TGI Fridays, recommends an upside-down strategy.
To celebrate #NationalBurgerDay we teamed up with Olympic Gold Medal winner @ChazWorther to launch our #FlipItChallenge. Book a table, order one of our new burgers, flip it upside down & share pictures of you eating it by tagging @TGIFridaysUK and #FlipItChallenge ? pic.twitter.com/uzWSgVnANk

They say flipping a burger and eating it upside down can actually improve the taste.
The logic is that the top bun is usually thicker, so having it underneath absorbs the juices from the burger better and keeps more flavour in.
To get people on board with the new trend, they've launched a #FlipItChallenge asking people to try it out and share their photos online.
We're not sure it'll fully catch on but we're willing to try!
