A woman says Instagram is the reason she has to pay back a €7,000 holiday debt.
Fiona Melbul from Australia said she's always had a bit of FOMO when it comes to social media and reckons she's rather be in debt than miss out on the craic.
When Fiona found out her brother was going to Disneyland, she decided he couldn't go without her and she took out a loan for the big trip. The 27 year old also used her credit card for the entire trip and racked up about $8,000 (around €7,200) in the process.
Fiona had to move back in with her parents to pay off the colossal debt but told LadBible that it was all worth it:
"You take those 10, 20 shots to take the perfect one, post on social media, then you kinda wait for your friends to see it.
"Then you get all those comments of them being jealous. Makes me feel good that I can do that".
