Love at first .....Zoom?

Does love at first at first sight involve meeting them first?

A new study has shown that a third of online daters have said 'I love you' before meeting.

Singletons admitted that they confessed their love to someone they met online during the pandemic.

The study was conducted by Vision Direct on 2,000 adults, which found only 13 individuals had tried virtual dates.

Relationship psychologist Becky Spelman told SWNS :

“Dating during lockdown is really good for everyone’s mental and emotional health,”

She also said online dating is:

“a welcome reminder that romance, attraction and love haven’t gone away just because we’re all stuck at home, and those are all things we need more of.”

“Dating someone new during lockdown is one of the most positive things that anyone can do,”

Top of the list of things that people dreaded when trying virtual dates was the awkward silence.
