Yikes!
A volcano in south-west Iceland has erupted and spilled lava after being dormant for 6,000 years.
Ariel footage shared by the Icelandic Meteorological Office shows 2 separate streams of lava.

The glow from the lava can be seen from the country's capital.
Although the city of Reykjavik is only 20 miles away, the Department of Emergency Management said they're not expecting any evacuations.

The eruption comes after daily earthquakes occurred in the area over the last 3 weeks.
