"It looks like you need Iceland."

Feeling frustrated after months of isolation? Iceland may have the solution.

The Nordic island is marketing itself as the "perfect place to let your frustrations out" as it invites people to try"scream therapy".

Iceland is calling for people to release any covid-19 stress by recording their screams and play them on loudspeaker in remote parts of the country.

The country has set up seven speakers around the country and participants can choose from locations like the peak of Festarfjall in Reykjanes Peninsula and Skogafoss waterfall.

The Iceland tourist board has said on their website:

"You've been through a lot this year and it looks like you need the perfect place to let your frustrations out. Somewhere big, vast and untouched.

"It looks like you need Iceland."

According to SkyNews, psychotherapist Zoe Aston said: "The events of this year mean most of us have experienced increased feelings of frustrations, fear, loneliness, anger or guilt, and we have all coped in different ways."

"Using a scream as a way to release pent up emotion allows you to reconnect with yourself, hear your own voice and reclaim the power that is inside you."
