Do you know someone scary enough to play The Grand High Witch?
The original hotel from Roald Dahl's The Witches, which was filmed in 1990, are hiring for a new role.
The Headland Hotel in Cornwall was the background for the movie that scared most of us to death as children.
They're now looking for someone to join their afternoon tea room- and impersonate The Grand High Witch.
The successful actress who gets the role will spend their time terrifying adults and children.
They must also have a talent for ‘turning people into mice’.
Scary
If you need a reminder just how spooky Anjelica Huston was as The Grand High Witch, here's a reminder.
The Grand High Witch would join the team for a particularly spooky season of afternoon teas to mark the hotel’s connections with the supernatural.
All the successful candidate will have to do is be vocal and impersonate the witch’s key phrases.
They will also have to be comfortable natural theatre performers, while being confident enough to interact with strangers and engage with children.
‘The Witches is close to our hearts here at The Headland and every October, we like to celebrate the film with a spooky Afternoon Tea tribute,’ said director Veryan Palmer.
‘This year we’d like a Grand High Witch who will evoke the spectacular effect that Anjelica Huston created for her role of the Grand High Witch in Roald Dahl’s The Witches.’
The hotel will also provide the mask and cape!
