Lots of people feel Home Alone should have been left alone
There was mixed reaction when it was announced a new 'Home Alone' movie would be coming out.
The original films starring Macaulay Culkin are cult classics and were always going to be hard to follow up.
With the release of the trailer this week for 'Home Sweet Home Alone', it seems people's uncertainty has swollen to anger at the attempt to recreate such an iconic movie.
As of the day after the trailer was posted on YouTube, it's racked up over 22,000 dislikes.
People have been quick to shoot down the plot of the reboot, which is strikingly similar to the original.
In 2021? Just call the little boy and see if he’s okay ?♀️, if you want it to have more spice have the family live in some highly wooded area where there are bears and other wild animals or have them leave him in a vacation spot where no one speaks English and there is no service

We didn’t need this.
I don’t want this.
Please take it back or at least give me a gift receipt so I can return it myself.
